Learning and Technology Special Interest Group - A Learning Portal Case Study: Performance Support at TIAA
TIAA faced the happy challenge of rapidly growing its business and onboarding a wave of new financial analysts to learn new job roles in various operations, such as New Accounts, Rollovers, IRAs, Transfers, and Withdrawals. It also wanted to retain its current employees and their institutional knowledge by providing cross-training and a career path. The solution – develop multiple training classes in this highly regulated complex industry? Not this time. Instead -- Performance Support through a SharePoint Learning Portal to accelerate time to proficiency. Dawn will demonstrate the use of SharePoint as a as platform for this endeavor and discuss the pros and cons of this approach as she shares successes and lessons learned.
